You can remove learners from a private or Membership program once enrollment emails have been sent, and the learners' status is either enrolled, in progress, invited, or waitlisted.
Please note the following:
- Learners can be removed in the following statuses: invited, enrolled, waitlisted, or in progress.
- Learners cannot be removed if the program has ended for their group, and their status is 'Complete' or 'Incomplete'.
- Removing learners from a Membership program will not deactivate their membership access.
- To deactivate learners' membership access, please complete the Admin Support Form.

Steps for a Private Program
- Log in to the Hone portal and navigate to the program to which the learner is invited.
- Navigate to the group where the learner is in.
- The group flyout will appear on the right-hand side; click the ‘Learners’ tab.
- Check the box next to the learners you want to remove from the program.
- Click on the 'Remove' button.
- A dialogue box will appear confirming the learners who will be removed. To proceed, click 'Remove Learners'.
Steps for a Membership Program
- Log in to the Hone portal and navigate to the program to which the learner is invited.
- Navigate to the 'learner' tab on the left-hand side and search for the learner.
- Select learner and a flyout window will appear on the right-hand side.
- Select 'More' and click on the 'Remove learner'.
- A dialogue box will appear confirming the learners who will be removed. To proceed, click 'Remove Learners'.
Frequently Asked Questions:
- Learner’s data in the private program will be removed and cannot be recovered, such as assessment, attendance, commitment, and feedback.
- Learners invited to 'any group' will be removed from all the groups they were invited to.
- Learner’s Membership status and Membership records will remain active, such as attendance, commitments, and feedback will remain on the platform.
- For deactivation of Membership, submit a Hone Admin Support ticket.
