AI-Powered Coaching that Meets Learners Where They’re At

Hone AI Coach now remembers what learners share across coaching conversations, making each interaction more personal, relevant, and useful. Learners no longer have to repeat their goals, challenges, or context every time they engage. Instead, Hone AI builds on what it already knows: where a learner is growing, what they are working through, and what support they need next. 

That means more meaningful reflection, better-timed check-ins, and AI-powered coaching that feels connected to each learner’s unique development journey.

AI-Powered Live Classes 

We’re making breakouts during our live, human-led classes even more powerful with Hone AI. In select live classes, learners with Hone AI access can practice realistic workplace scenarios through AI Roleplays in breakout rooms.

These interactive Roleplays give learners a safe space to try new approaches, build confidence, and get tailored feedback in the moment, so they can turn learning into action faster.

To find which classes have an AI-powered breakout session, look for the Hone AI symbol next to the class date and time.

AI Coaching that Shows Up When it Matters Most

The gap between learning and doing is where leadership development usually breaks down, and that's exactly where Hone AI Coach now steps in. It proactively checks in with employees in Slack and Teams before high-stakes moments, like tough feedback conversations or critical 1:1s, and follows up afterward to reinforce learning and guide next steps.

Custom Program Completion Rates

Completion metrics should reflect your organization's requirements, not a default threshold. Now you can set custom completion rates on a per-program basis directly in program settings, so your reporting captures what matters most to your team. And when you make adjustments, learner completion status updates retroactively, keeping your data accurate from day one.

Refreshed Learner Navigation 

Finding AI sessions and AI Coach chats just got easier. We've moved both into the main learner navigation bar in Hone’s platform for a cleaner, more intuitive experience that’s fully responsive and mobile-friendly.

Due Date Reminders for AI Sessions 

Learners will now receive a Slack or Teams reminder on the due date for any incomplete AI sessions, helping keep learning on track without any extra effort from your team.

Calendar Sync for AI Sessions 
Learners can now add any Hone AI session directly to their calendar, so they can block off time and show up ready, on their own schedule.

Bring Learning Directly Into Microsoft Teams

Hone's new Microsoft Teams integration brings AI-powered coaching and learning reminders right inside Teams. With this integration, your employees can receive:

• AI coaching – Always-on copilot that employees can message directly in Teams to navigate challenges and build skills exactly when they need support.
• Program invites – Notifies employees when they’re added to a Hone learning program.
• Assigned classes – Lets employees know when a new class is assigned to them.
• Class reminders – Sends reminders 24 hours before and the day of class.

AI Coach Available in Slack Integration

Give employees coaching exactly when and where they need it with Hone’s AI Coach, now part of our Slack integration. With Hone’s Slack integration, HR and L&D teams can:

• Strengthen performance. Equip employees with an always-on AI coach they can message directly in Slack – via desktop or mobile – to navigate challenges, build skills, and become more effective leaders and teammates.
• Boost engagement. Increase participation across your development programs with alerts for Hone classes and program assignments and automated reminders that keep learning front and center.
• Save your team’s inbox. Timely learning reminders are delivered in Slack, cutting through inbox noise and ensuring messages are seen.

Resume Hone AI Sessions
Effortlessly continue your learning journey with the ability to pick up any AI Session right where you left off. Resume sessions in progress at any time, making it easier than ever to learn flexibly and on your own schedule.

Access Hone AI Session Transcripts
Learners can now view transcripts of their completed AI sessions in the AI Coach tab (look for the ribbon icon) to revisit key insights, track progress, and apply what they've learned.

Hone AI Chat – the newest, most flexible experience in the Hone AI suite – is now available in Hone Membership. Chat provides immediate, personalized coaching at scale, driving daily improvements that lead to lasting results.

It equips employees with on-demand coaching, via voice or chat, that powers performance through:

1. Deep coaching. Reflective, coaching-style conversations that help employees uncover their own answers.
2. Quick solutions. Practical tips, research-backed content, and helpful talking points when they need answers fast.
3. Continuous growth. Tailored recommendations across Hone’s AI Lessons, AI Practice, and expert-led classes for building skills over time.
4. Ongoing progress. Saves past interactions that employees can revisit and resume to reflect, deepen insights, and track progress.

AI Membership Programs
Give employees more ways to build skills over time by adding Hone AI Lessons and Practice sessions to Membership programs. Combining live classes with AI-powered learning drives continuous growth, helping employees prepare before a live class, brush up on key frameworks, and get infinite time to practice.

How it works:

• On your Hone admin dashboard, select ‘Create new program’
• Choose “Membership + AI.”
• Select the live classes and AI Lessons and Practice sessions you want to add to your program, set a completion date, and add learners to the program.
• Once learners are added, they’ll get nudges to enroll in the program and complete the live and AI sessions by the due date.
• Track learner progress with real-time insights on starts, completions, and ratings.

Learner Activity Data

Keep a pulse on learner engagement with new updates to the Learner activity tab:

• Hone AI Engagement Tracking. You can now view and export engagement metrics for Hone AI Lessons and Practice sessions, including start and completion statuses.
• Program and Membership Visibility. View the “Program” column to see how sessions were delivered – either by Hone Membership or a Private Program – and if the session was part of a program.

Lattice HRIS Integration

Save time and streamline your workflow with Hone’s new Lattice HRIS integration. The integration automatically syncs key learner data (like name, email, and location) from Lattice’s HRIS into Hone’s platform, ensuring data consistency, reducing manual entries, and freeing up valuable time for your team.

Slack Integration

Boost learner engagement and meet them where they work with Slack notifications that share assigned and upcoming classes, so development stays top of mind without disrupting the flow of work.

Membership Mass Activation & Deactivation

Ensure the right learners have access to Hone Membership when they need it with the ability to manage learner access seamlessly. From the Learners page, select who should have access and click “Activate Membership” to grant instant access—empowering learners to enroll in Hone Membership classes right away. Need to revoke access? Just select the learners who no longer need Membership and choose “Deactivate Membership” to end their access.

Learner Data Exports

Gain deeper insights into your Hone Membership learners with new filters and an easy way to export the data. Now, you can select from 20 filters to slice and dice your learner data – like department, location, role (e.g., admin or learner), Membership start date, number of classes enrolled, and many more – making it easier than ever to find and analyze the information you need. Visit the Learners page in your dashboard to get started!

AI Class Finder

AI Class Finder is an interactive, AI-powered chat experience that helps learners and learning leaders with Hone Membership access:

• Build customized learning plans in just a few clicks, tailored to close skill gaps and support specific development goals.
• Get smart recommendations from Hone’s library of 100+ live online classes, based on a skill they want to build, challenge they’re tackling, performance review feedback, or development plan goals.
• Easily enroll in AI suggested classes or choose ‘Save for Later’ to curate a list of courses to take in the future.

Manager & Learner Activation

Unlock the full potential of your Hone Membership and make learning more accessible by empowering both managers and employees to activate access to Hone Membership:

• Managers can now assign a Hone Membership seat to their team members when assigning classes through Hone’s Manager Console—ensuring that every employee has access to the learning experiences they need to grow.
• Learners can activate their personal Membership seat instantly when registering for any Hone class—giving them seamless access to learning on their own terms.

Due Dates in Private Programs

Now you can keep private program learners on track, minimize reschedules, and close programs on time by setting a completion date for a private program. To start using due dates for private programs, visit your program settings to opt in.

Manager Console 

Equip managers with tools to nurture and support employees’ development in Hone, with the ability to:

• View direct reports in Hone and see learner data, like registered classes, missed classes, and attended classes
• Assign classes to employees who have Hone Membership access, so employees can close skills gaps and continuously level up
• See any outstanding learner actions an employee needs to take, such as enrolling in an assigned class or rescheduling a missed class
• Email direct reports if there are outstanding tasks to prompt them to take action, helping drive learning program completions

Save for Later Classes

Empower learners to plan their learning journey and bookmark the Hone classes that support their development goals by adding classes to a list to a ‘Save for Later’ list.

Learner Dashboard

Fuel continuous learning with a refreshed learner dashboard that includes outstanding tasks to complete, next scheduled class, and recommended classes (for learners with Hone Membership access) – all in one convenient place.

Learning Effectiveness Rating

Understand Hone’s impact across your organization with the learning effectiveness rating, now available in the Membership dashboard. This rating highlights the percentage of learners who feel motivated and capable of applying skills gained from Hone classes.

Membership Engagement Filter

Take a deeper dive into your Hone Membership insights with a new filter that breaks down learners’ Membership engagement by:

• Learner led: Learners who have taken classes outside of a program
• Membership program: Learners who have engaged through a Membership program
• Reschedule with Membership: Learners who have rescheduled from Private Programs to Membership

Docebo Integration

Give learners the ability to search, discover, and enroll in Hone classes, plus admin visibility into learner enrollment and completion data – all in Docebo.

Learner Engagement Chart

Keep a pulse on engagement with a new chart that shows Membership enrollment and attendance trends over time, available in the Membership tab. 

Learner Search

Quickly locate specific learners using the new search feature. Visit the Learners tab and select the ‘search bar’ to get started.

Employee Deactivation

Easily remove a terminated employee in Hone by clicking "Deactivate User" from the "Actions" option in the learner flyout, or if your HRIS is integrated, they’ll be automatically deactivated upon termination. Deactivation revokes platform access, disables their Membership license, and unenrolls them from upcoming classes and programs.

Learner Navigation

We’ve made a small update to the learner dashboard, moving the navigation bar from the top to the left side to provide a more intuitive way to discover learning experiences and view upcoming classes.
